The book entitled Restoring Antiquities authored by me was released by Prof. Dr. V. Velayutham former Director of Government Ophthalmic Hospital, Chennai-600 078. The first copy of the book was received by Pastor. R. Isaiah, Believers’ Gospel Fellowship, Mambalam, Chennai-600 033. The book portrays the activities of the Hepzibah Institute of Heritage Conservation.Details of various conservation projects handled by the Institute since its inception is given. This consists of the conservation and restoration of manuscripts, books, records both from Government and secular organisations; treatment of temple sculptures at the Padaleeswarar temple, Cuddalore; treatment of oil paintings from the Central Office of the Indian Overseas Bank, Chennai-600 002; Prince of Arcot, Amir Mahal, paintings restoration; Restoration of one oil painting and one large size photograph from Kanadukathan; two oil paintings on canvas at the Fort Museum, Chennai; one polymer statue from Mr. Goenka, Chennai; One oil painting and one pattachitra from the C.P. R. Art Foundation, Chennai-600 012 etc. The details of restoration of the antiquities and art works are detailed in the book.
